Design and graphics at Polestar Studios
In every field, from theatre to dance, multimedia to print design, creativity is always my passion. And when it comes to design work, the same sensitivity to color, line, images, and aesthetics that informs my writing, directing, cinematography, and even my acting and dancing is the same ability that I pour into creating effective designs.
I now consider myself a “communication designer” because my design work encompasses so many areas, from the page to the stage (print design to theatrical design), from multimedia to the Internet. Regardless of the project, my focus is always clarity of communication. I am a “form follows function” designer. The design serves the message, not the other way around.
Design services
Polestar Studios offers a wide array of design services, including the following:
- Print design: Business cards, letterhead, brochures, flyers, postcards, catalogs, newsletters, books, training manuals
- Multimedia design: PowerPoint presentations, DVDs, animated GIFs, Flash animations
- Internet design: Buttons, photos, web site design
When I create designs, I include complimentary proofreading and editing at no additional charge. If you have a manuscript — nonfiction, fiction, film, television, or play scripts — that you would like to have proofread and edited, I also offer those services independently of design as well.
Portfolio
My online portfolio provides samples of work spanning nearly fifteen years. I also have a DVD portfolio available upon request; there is a $5 fee to cover shipping and handling.
